EXPEDITED RUSSIAN VISA   

RUSSIAN TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS

 

1. PASSPORT

You must provide your actual signed passport, including one copy of the personal information page of your passport. Your passport must:

 

  •  At least 6 months beyond the validity of the requested visa.
  • Contain at least two blank visa pages for the visa stamp (amendments and endorsement pages cannot be used to fulfill this requirement)
     

2. PHOTOGRAPH

Please send one recent (less than 6 month old) professional passport-type photograph.

 

 

3. TOURIST VOUCHER (INVITATION)

Copy of tourist voucher (invitation) issued by tourist company or hotel in Russia approved by the Ministry of Tourism.

4. VISA APPLICATION FORM 

Applicant must complete visa application online, print out, and sign it. Click here to fill out your application online.
When you start your application, you MUST WRITE down Application ID and Password. Please include this information in your package.

 

5. FOR MINORS

Minors must supply the following to get a Russian Visa:

Copies of Birth Certificate.

A valid copy of passports from both parents.

 

6.AUTHORIZATION LETTER

The applicant must supply a notarized letter authorizing our company to handle the submission and retrieval of their Russian visa. The letter must be notarized.

 

7. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS BORN IN THE FORMER USSR OR RUSSIA

  • Copy of USSR passport with a stamp stating you left for “permanent residence abroad”, dated prior to February 6, 1992;
  • Or a copy of a “Visa to Israel” issued prior to February 6, 1992;
  • Or a copy of a Certificate of Naturalization issued prior to 1996;
  • Or a document confirming the renunciation of your Russian citizenship;
  • Or a copy of the main pages of a passport of a former USSR state, issued after February 1992;
  • Or a written statement of explanation, in the case that you have no documentation.

    In accordance with Russian law, visas cannot be issued to Russian citizens with expired passports. We remind you that in accordance to Article 12 of Russian law “On citizenship of the Russian Federation”, children born to two parents who are Russian citizens automatically gain Russian citizenship regardless of the place of birth. In this case visas are not issued and they must apply for Russian citizenship or have their information written into the passport of one of their parents or obtain a Russian passport.

RUSSIAN PRIVATE VISA REQUIREMENTS
 

1. PASSPORT

You must provide your actual signed passport, including one copy of the personal information page of your passport. Your passport must:

 

  •  At least 6 months beyond the validity of the requested visa.
  • Contain at least two blank visa pages for the visa stamp (amendments and endorsement pages cannot be used to fulfill this requirement)

2. PHOTOGRAPH

Please send one recent professional passport-type photograph.

 

 

3. INVITATION LETTER

A NOTARIZED letter of invitation from a Russian citizen. The letter from your host must be written in Russian, and should contain the following information:

Full name, date of birth, sex, citizenship, passport number, address of registration, and address of residence of the inviting party.

Full name (in both Russian AND English), date of birth, sex, citizenship, passport number, and resident address of the applicant.

Specifically request a "3 year multiple entry private visa for the period dd/mm/yyyy - dd/mm/yyyy" (ie. 01 June 2020 - 31 May 2023).

The purpose of travel, cities to be visited, and address of stay.

4. RUSSIAN HOST PASSPORT

You must provide a copy of the Russian internal passport and registration stamp of your Russian host.

RUSSIAN BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS
 

1. PASSPORT

You must provide your actual signed passport, including one copy of the personal information page of your passport. Your passport must:

 

  • At least 6 months beyond the validity of the requested visa.
  • Contain at least two blank visa pages for the visa stamp (amendments and endorsement pages cannot be used to fulfill this requirement)
     

2. Russia Business Invitation

You must obtain a Russian Business Invitation to travel to Russia. 

If you have secured your own invitation from the Russian government, you need to send us the original. Copies are not accepted by the consulate. Requirement to provide original invitation is waived if it is issued electronically.  

 If you have secured your own Telex then you must apply for your Russia Business visa in the city where the Telex is approved. That city may be different than the city where you have been directed to processes your visa. If you are unsure about the Telex please contact us for further directions. 

If you obtain your own letter from your host company (also known as a Direct Invitation) in Russia, the document may be a copy if it follows the following structure exactly. The letter must:

 

  • Be written in Russian on company letterhead paper and possess a company seal
  • Include the host organization's full name, complete address, the first and last name of the person signing the statement, patronymic, and the tax payer identification number if the host organization is a legal entity or enterprise
  • Request a 36 month multiple entry visa, list the applicant's full name, date of birth, citizenship, gender, passport number, number of entries sought, purpose of travel to Russia, requested period of time in Russia, the address of where the applicant will stay, and the cities to be visited
  • Must state exact start and end dates of the 3 year visa (for example Dec. 1, 2013-Nov. 30, 2016)
  • Display the Russian company's "INN number" (tax ID number)
  • Be signed by the director of the company, stamped, dated, and show the full name and job title of the signer
  • Direct invitation for 3 years is for U.S. citizens only and can be for general business purposes only and can't be used for Employment, Study, Religious, Crew or Technical service visas.
